LIME for a cause at the Hyatt

Once again Hyatt Regency Trinidad welcomes fete-lovers to experience one of the most anticipated celebrations of Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival season, the seventh annual LIME fete. Each year, the best soca artistes take the Waterfront stage to provide entertainment complemented by “white with a touch of lime” décor and gastronomical delights prepared by master chefs from Hyatt Regency Trinidad. The ultra-luxe, all-inclusive event will take place on this evening at Hyatt Regency Trinidad from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.

From dining to dancing, each guest can expect to be treated like a VIP at LIME, whether they choose Platinum or Diamond level tickets. Upon arrival, all party-goers will be treated to new signature cocktails — “Lime Frenzy” and “Liquid Lime.” Diamond level guests will feast on delicacies from sushi and oysters to lobster and strip loin steak. Of course, Platinum level guests don’t get left behind.

They will enjoy their own feast of slow-roasted meats grilled on seasoned coals and smoked woods, authentic Indian cuisine, decadent desserts and vegetarian dishes, in addition to local authentic island fare and more. A wide selection of premium drinks including champagne and cocktails will also be available.

The powerhouse entertainment this year includes: Machel Montano, Kes The Band, The Ultimate Rejects featuring MX Prime, David Rudder, Roy Cape All Stars, Skinny Fabulous, Voice, Angela Hunte, KI, Olatunji, and Chutney Soca Kings Ravi B and Omardath Maharaj. Continuing tradition, LIME fete looks forward to seeing “white with a touch of LIME” outfits and fireworks by FirOne — all in an atmosphere like no other.

As part of the Hyatt THRIVE programme, Hyatt Regency Trinidad will donate proceeds from LIME to the Christ-Child Convalescent Home through United Way Trinidad and Tobago. The hotel has been a donor partner of United Way Trinidad and Tobago (UWTT) since 2009. Last year, the proceeds benefited The Heroes Foundation. Other past recipients include ALTA (Adult Literacy Tutors Association), The Heroes Foundation, Rainbow Rescue Home for Boys and Amica House for Girls. Tickets are available exclusively at Hyatt Regency Trinidad and for additional information on LIME 2017, visit, or e-mail
